Mrs. Kaylea Rush is a passionate educator who believes meaningful relationships, high expectations, and intentional instruction create opportunities for every student to succeed. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University at Alexandria in 2017. That same year, she began her career at Tioga Elementary as a sixth-grade English language arts teacher before transitioning to fourth-grade science and social studies in 2019. In 2022, she earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northwestern State University. Throughout her time at Tioga, Mrs. Rush has developed a passion for analyzing student data, designing meaningful learning experiences, and collaborating with educators to strengthen instruction. She now serves as Tioga Elementary’s Lead Teacher, working alongside teachers to support their professional growth and improve student achievement. Mrs. Rush is committed to serving the students, faculty, staff, families, and community of Tioga Elementary.
